Week 9 / Day 60
This week has been pretty average. I have been exercising regularly, doing a combination of either walking and jogging, or jogging and doing a session on the exercise bike, or exercise bike and walking. I have done 5 sessions this week. Ii have also been doing a little bit of strength workouts, such as push-ups and sit-ups, but can only remember doing two small sessions of these. I will keep pushing myself to do more of these during the week.
However, I feel my eating habits were not so strong as I had over eaten a little bit extra for a few days this week. In saying that, my weight did not jump too high as I had expected it to be.
My weekly results are as follows:
Start of the year Last Week This Week
1st January 22nd February 1st March
Weight: 71.4 Weight: 68.6 Weight: 69.1
Waist: 86cm Waist: 83.5cm Waist: 83cm
Hips: 83cm Hips: 84cm Hips: 84.5
Neck: 38cm Neck: 38cm Neck: 39cm
I am starting to be convinced that my weight cannot get any lower, as well and my neck measurements are changing. Not sure if this is normal?
Slowly but steadily seeing a slight difference in weigh loss and body toning.

Week 8 / Day 53
This week has been a bit challenging in fitting in exercise due to work commitments and such, but I managed to fit in a few bike rides and walks in the mix. And I have successfully gone down in numbers, weight-wise and measurement-wise.

Week 7 / Day 46
Week 7 / day 46
I have started pushing myself a little bit, resulting in completing goals which I had never thought I'd ever accomplish.
I've started doing strength exercises; and for the first time in years, I have completed:
Push ups: 5 sets of 10 reps
Sit ups: 5 sets of 10 reps
This may not sound like much but I am starting off lightly and increasing my sets and reps as time goes on.
Another record and accomplishment which I am proud of achieving, and breaking my previous record, is jogging a distance of 2.25km without a break (previous record of 1.5km). And again, I will be increasing this distance and time as time goes on.
I was glad to have encouragement given to me by two strangers during my jog, telling me I'm doing a good job and to keep it up. It is great to get encouragement and motivation like this. :) I will be jumping on the bandwagon of random acts of encouragement, hoping it will be contagious.
I have been keeping up with my daily walking routine as well as adding an exercise bike routine in the mix.
Feeling good and positive now and with the weeks to come. See y'all next week.

Week 6 / Day 41
Week 6 / Day 41
This week seems to have been productive and achieving goals slowly.
I have gone down to 69kg again and been under my calorie counts, which I'm glad about. Hoping next week will be this productive

Week 5 / Day 32
Week 5 / Day 32
This week has been up and down for me. My exercise has been great, kicking goals and personal bests and achievements, but my food intake and diet has not been the best. I confess to overeating a fair bit and have been going out to restaurants a few times during the week. The results are as follows however:
1st January 25th of January 1st February
Weight: 71.4kg Weight: 69.5kg Weight: 69.9kg
Waist: 86cm Waist: 86cm Waist: 86.5
Hips: 83cm Hips: 85cm Hips: 84cm
Neck: 38cm Neck: 39cm Neck: 38.5cm
I seems like my measurements are very similar since the start of the year. I think its time to focus more on toning up as well as cardio, and having proper rest.
On a positive not I feel my cardio walks / jogs / workouts are impressive, personally. I will monitor my progress in these blogs daily to see if there are any weekly improvements, whether its time or distance.
This weeks results are:
km duration
42.21km 5 hours, 59mins
